How often do you use positive affirmations to boost your confidence and self-esteem? I think we can agree that when life gets hard and it feels like you’re getting knocked down at work and in your personal life, it’s easy to go to a dark place. Ending up in that dark place is what I want to help you avoid. Why? Because you are incredibly amazing and can overcome any obstacle that gets in your way.
As a toxic workplace survivor and highly sensitive person, I use positive affirmations frequently to raise my vibrations and improve my confidence and self-esteem. Another benefit is that using affirmations will also improve your mental health. I strongly believe that we are our thoughts and have the power to speak things into existence. This means that you can overcome low self-esteem and low confidence by carefully choosing what you tell yourself.
Remember, positive thinking and a positive mindset helps you navigate life with peace and confidence. Believe it or not, a lack of confidence and low self-esteem can affect your quality of life. How? For starters, it can negatively impact your personal and professional life.
When you lack confidence, you settle for less than you deserve in professional and personal relationships. You are more likely to accept disrespectful behavior and abuse (both verbal and mental). When you don’t believe that you are worthy and deserve better, everyone around you will pick up on that. Once I entered my 30s, I finally understood the phrase, “you teach people how to treat you.” This is demonstrated by the way that you treat (and talk) to yourself. If others see that you don’t respect your time, thoughts, or existence, they won’t either.
I’ve coached hundreds of professionals who ended up in toxic workplaces or stagnant in their career due to low self-esteem. A lack of confidence will keep you working for a toxic employer long-term. It will also cause you to struggle with advocating for yourself and taking action to make positive changes. Employers (including bosses) will also pick up on low self-esteem and take advantage of employees. This is why raising your vibrations with positive affirmations is important. It impacts your life now and will impact it in the future. Another benefit of positive affirmations is increasing your level of self-love.
Using positive affirmations is also an act of self-love. Telling yourself positive statements is a powerful tool to help avoid negative self-talk. Negative thoughts have the power to eat away at your confidence and keep you feeling stuck, unworthy, and uncapable of achieving your wildest goals.
Powerful affirmations are a great way to remind yourself that you are worthy of love and deserve good things. I have put together a list of 50+ daily positive affirmations that you can use for a variety of situations. I recommend using at least 3 daily and switching them up when needed.
These are some of my favorite affirmations that have helped me with positive thinking and making positive changes in my own life. The more you repeat these positive affirmations and implement them into your daily routine, the better results you will have.
It’s also important for me to tell you about the power of your subconscious mind. This is what controls our actions on a daily basis. When you choose to fill your subconscious mind with positive thinking through self-love affirmations, you will notice that you feel lighter and more at peace. Even on the days that are hard, you will automatically dig yourself out of the dark place.
As you read through these affirmations remember to take a deep breath and get ready to become the best version of yourself.
