The truth is, that you don’t control the job market, a company’s financial situation, or their hiring process. The average job search can take anywhere from 3 to 6 months. In a tougher market, it can take even longer. It’s important that you prepare yourself by setting realistic expectations and utilizing as many components of the job search advice shared in this article.Â
